The playoffs continue tomorrow and I need to update my picks on the AFC side of the bracket.
Indianapolis at Baltimore: Ravens win, 24-21.
I picked the Ravens to win it all and I'm sticking by them. Bad weather and a nasty, playmaking defense will be too much for Peyton. He will still have a solid game, but his two or three turnovers will be too much to overcome. One touchdown will be scored by the Ravens' defense, maybe Chris McAllister. McNair will play smart and won't turn the ball over.
New England at San Diego: Chargers win, 31-24.
This really has the potential to be a great game and I think it will be a great game. Tomlinson will do well, maybe 120 yards and one touchdown, but nothing spectacular. Look for Antonio Gates to have a big game; the Pats' linebackers aren't terribly athletic, and their safeties are below average. At the end, Tom Brady realizes that scoring a touchdown to win a playoff game is a heck of a lot harder than setting up a field goal as the San Diego defense comes up with a game-clinching stop.
My NFC picks still apply and I'm sticking by them.
Thanks for the feedback, and enjoy the games.
