I didn't just pick these records and seedings arbitrarily, I actually went through the entire season and predicted each game, then added up the records. I tried to be completely free of bias in that regard. Some teams that surprised me were Kansas City (thought they would be a wildcard at best), Philadelphia (I had them finishing last in the division), Chicago (thought they would win more), and Tampa Bay (thought they could challenge for a wildcard).
